Meet The Elkhart Dental Team

Dr. Amanda Elling is a general dentist new to the East Texas area. She is originally from Fort Worth, Texas where she started in dentistry at the age of 19 as a dental assistant. She soon learned about her passion for helping people with their smiles and began her path towards becoming a dentist.

After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington, she later received her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation she received the Academy of General Dentistry Award, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award, the General Dentistry Program Award, and the Warren Parker Community Dentistry Award.

Dr. Elling knew she wanted to practice dentistry outside of the larger cities where she could make a greater impact on her patients and community. She is committed to providing the highest quality dental care from resolving a toothache to creating a new smile. Dr. Elling believes in a patient focused environment where everyone is treated as family. 

Dr. Elling is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Cory, 2 ½  year old daughter Everleigh, her 9 month old son Wyatt and bulldog Bear. She enjoys cooking and traveling to new places. 

Dr. Elling is excited to be in Elkhart and looks forward to helping her patients improve their oral health, function, and smile.
